Pat has been practicing law in Boston since 1998. Pat is a former partner at Riemer & Braunstein and Of Counsel at Morrison & Foerster. Before co-founding MHJP, Pat served as Of Counsel at Rosenfeld & Rafik, litigating healthcare insurance denials in state and federal court, with an emphasis on mental health cases. Pat has been involved in every stage of healthcare insurance appeals, from application through the insurer’s internal appeals process to filing litigation. Pat has been successful in obtaining pivotal victories for his clients during the internal appeals process, obtaining coverage for mental health residential treatment care, inpatient hospitalizations, and lifesaving medications. In so doing, Pat has established precedent that will assist other individuals and families in obtaining the care to which they are entitled.
MHJP’s mission is deeply personal to Pat. He is thrilled and honored to be collaborating with this passionate team.
“Each client’s story is very personal and often heartbreaking. In many cases we’re asked to help them navigate the worst crisis their family has ever faced. We take that responsibility very seriously and it drives our passionate and empathetic approach to each case.”
